Summer is the time when our rituals shift a little. In the morning, we crave something refreshing rather than just warm. In the afternoon, we reach for something cold. And when it's time for a treat - why not make it something that gives us energy too?

Below we've gathered 5 of our favourite summer recipes with MagicRooty. From a quick morning latte to a proper dessert you can make for guests. All simple, all delicious, and all bringing everything MagicRooty is known for - energy, focus, and a good feeling - in summer style.

🥥 Coconut MagicRooty Latte

Creamy coconut milk, a touch of vanilla, and MagicRooty come together in a refreshing drink that's ready in minutes. Perfect for sunny days, busy mornings, or whenever your nervous system needs a little love.

Ingredients:

  • 1 scoop of MagicRooty

  • 100 ml coconut milk (or any other plant-based milk)

  • 100 ml water

  • 1 tsp agave syrup (optional)

  • ½ tsp vanilla powder or a few drops of vanilla extract

  • Ice (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a shaker or using a milk frother, mix MagicRooty, water, sweetener, and vanilla.

  2. Add ice to a large glass (optional).

  3. Pour in the coconut milk, then add the MagicRooty mixture.

  4. Stir well and enjoy.

🍌 MagicRooty Banana Latte

When the days get warmer, we often crave something simple, homemade, and just a little bit special. This drink combines the warmth and effectiveness of MagicRooty with sweet, fruity indulgence - naturally sweet, refreshing, and satisfying.

Ingredients:

  • 1 serving of MagicRooty

  • 1 dl (100 ml) hot water

  • 1 ripe banana

  • 1.5 dl (150 ml) milk (regular or plant-based — we recommend oat or soy)

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • A handful of ice (optional)

  • A pinch of cinnamon (for topping)

Instructions:

  1. Mix MagicRooty into 1 dl of hot water.

  2. Blend the banana, milk, and vanilla extract into a creamy, frothy mixture.

  3. Add some ice to a glass and pour the MagicRooty over it.

  4. Slowly pour the banana mixture on top and sprinkle with a pinch of cinnamon if desired.

  5. For a more authentic latte experience, froth the banana and milk mixture with a milk frother.

🍨 MagicRooty Affogato

Love ice cream and MagicRooty? Here's a recipe that brings both together - and the result is better than you'd expect. The ice cream slowly melts into the warm MagicRooty, dark chocolate adds depth, and almonds bring the crunch.

Ingredients:

  • 1 serving of MagicRooty + 150–200 ml hot (not boiling) water

  • 0.5 dl hot oat milk

  • 1–2 scoops of vegan vanilla ice cream

  • Grated dark chocolate (for topping)

  • Toasted almond flakes (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare MagicRooty: mix with 150–200 ml of hot water and add 0.5 dl of hot oat milk.

  2. Place 1–2 scoops of vegan vanilla ice cream into a cup or glass.

  3. Slowly pour the MagicRooty over the ice cream. It will start to melt slightly, creating a creamy, delicious combination.

  4. Sprinkle with grated dark chocolate and add toasted almond flakes for a crunchy twist if desired.

  5. Serve immediately.

Magic tip: For an extra fresh touch, garnish your affogato with a few fresh raspberries or strawberries.

🍫 Chocolate Chia Pudding with Berries and MagicRooty

Creamy, cold, packed with antioxidants - and with MagicRooty in the mix, the perfect choice for a productive day. This recipe was created by Tjasa Ribic (@goingplant).

Ingredients (3–4 servings):

Chia pudding:

  • 85 g chia seeds

  • 20 g cacao powder

  • 3–4 tbsp maple or date syrup

  • 1 scoop chocolate protein powder (optional)

  • 170 ml soy milk

  • 125 ml water

  • 250 g coconut yogurt

  • 2 scoops of MagicRooty + 20 ml hot (not boiling) water

Berry cream:

  • 100 g mixed berries

  • 225 g yogurt

  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (optional)

Toppings: berries, nuts, seeds, granola

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, mix all the chia pudding ingredients together.

  2. Leave in the fridge overnight, or for at least 30 minutes, until the chia seeds have absorbed all the liquid.

  3. Meanwhile, prepare the berry cream: blend the berries, yogurt, and protein powder until smooth.

  4. Serve in a glass or bowl, topped with granola and nuts to taste.

🍰 Tiramisu Bites with MagicRooty

Soft, delicious, ready in 15 minutes. These little bites are the perfect snack when you need an energy boost but also want something sweet. This recipe was also created in collaboration with Tjasa Ribic (@goingplant).

Ingredients (makes 8–10 bites):

  • 85 g rolled oats

  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (optional)

  • 2 tbsp syrup (agave, maple...)

  • 2 heaped tbsp yogurt

  • 2 tbsp cacao powder

  • 1 scoop of MagicRooty + 50 ml hot (not boiling) water

  • A pinch of salt

Instructions:

  1. Blend the rolled oats into a fine flour.

  2. In a large bowl, mix the oat flour with the vanilla protein powder, yogurt, syrup, a pinch of salt, and cacao powder.

  3. Prepare MagicRooty by mixing it with 50 ml of hot water, then stir it into the rest of the ingredients.

  4. Shape the mixture into balls and roll them in cacao powder.

  5. Serve with yogurt.

The cacao flavour gives recipes a more earthy, intense note, cacao with cinnamon adds a touch of natural sweetness without added sugar, and the coffee flavour is for true coffee lovers who want that classic taste of coffee.
