Where a plant grows matters—a lot. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, this idea is called Dì Dào (地道), meaning herbs grown in their native habitat with the right soil, climate, and altitude are more potent and balanced.

That’s why many of our adaptogens and medicinal mushrooms come from pristine Dì Dào regions in China and Central Asia, where people have cultivated and used them for thousands of years. China, the global leader in mushroom cultivation, produces over 80% of the world’s mushrooms and has unmatched expertise in growing and extracting them.

We also source Maca and Cacao from the Peruvian highlands and Yerba Mate from Argentina—places where these plants have been part of daily life for centuries.

By respecting traditional knowledge and combining it with modern science, we create products that are both deeply authentic and highly effective.

Powders may seem natural, but much of the goodness stays locked away—especially in mushrooms, whose cell walls are made of chitin, a material our bodies can’t easily break down.

Extracts solve this problem. Using water or dual extraction, we concentrate the active compounds—like beta‑glucans and triterpenes—making them far more potent and easier for your body to absorb.

This is why 200 mg of a 10:1 extract can deliver the same amount of active compounds as 2 g of the whole mushroom. The extraction removes water, fiber, and inactive components, leaving you with less powder but more of what actually works.

Some of our ingredients—like Maca, Cacao, and Vitamin B12—are fully organic certified. Others are organically grown but not certified, and there’s a reason for that.

Many of our herbs and mushrooms come from small farmers in remote regions, where the cost of organic certification is extremely high and often unrealistic. These farmers still grow their crops without pesticides, GMOs, or chemicals—using methods that have been passed down for generations.

We follow the principle of Dì Dào sourcing—choosing to grow herbs in their native environments, where soil, altitude, and climate make them naturally more potent. This often results in higher quality and richer active compounds than what you’d find in mass‑produced “certified organic” crops.

So while not everything carries a formal organic label, we prioritize:

Even though many of our herbs and mushrooms grow in pristine, wild‑like conditions, quality control is never left to chance. Most of our mushrooms are semi‑wild cultivated in open‑air greenhouses with plenty of fresh air and natural light. They grow on natural substrates—like oak chips for Lion’s Mane—and are hand‑harvested at peak potency, then sun‑dried or gently dehydrated to lock in nutrients.

The only exception is Cordyceps, which we currently source as lab‑grown, since this is the most sustainable and effective option available right now.

Once harvested, every batch of ingredients and extracts is tested for:

After production, we test final products again in independent third‑party labs in Europe to confirm that what reaches you is as clean, safe, and effective as it should be. Because if we wouldn’t drink it ourselves, we wouldn’t put it in your cup.
